VP Engineering - Mr Bob Longman
Bob joined ACAL Energy from Plasmon Plc, and brings extensive experience of taking leading edge technologies to market. At ACAL Energy, Bob is responsible for the delivering all engineering aspects of the company’s technical development plan
Bob's experience includes management roles at Tube Investments, where he worked on the manufacture of heat exchange systems for nuclear reactors, and PA Consulting, where he was Engineering Group Manager. As well as corporate research and engineering responsibilities, Bob has managed quality systems at several of his companies. Bob worked in Canada for a number of years before returning to the UK, and has a degree in Mechanical Sciences from Cambridge University.
VP Strategic Business Development - Amanda Lyne BSc, FCIM
Amanda has a broad based commercial experience, built in ICI, and a number of technology start ups. Her previous roles have included Global Business Manager for businesses with over £250M turnover as well as strategic marketing, business development and technology licensing. She has extensive project management experience and a proven track record in delivering commercial collaborations and R&D agreements. She has practical experience of creating value out of innovative science and leading businesses through private funding and AIM flotation.
Financial Controller - Joanna Dunne
Joanna, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996, worked in industry for Pilkington Plc for 7 years in a variety of roles including European Internal Auditor, European Financial Analyst, European Shared Finance Service Centre Process Improvement Manager and Worked as Financial Controller for luxury tour operator International Travel Connections Limited, managing a finance team of 13 and implementing new finance and reservations IT systems. Prior to joining ACAL she worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager, working with multi-national companies to ensure that IT systems were compliant with appropriate tax legislation.
